On May 21, 2026, celebrating National Communities Day in Vilnius, at St. Catherine’s Church, an event organized by the Department of National Minorities under the Government of the Republic of Lithuania took place, during which individuals who have significantly contributed to the culture, education, intercultural dialogue, and social cohesion of Lithuania’s national communities were honored. During the ceremony, badges of honor of various degrees and commemorative gifts are awarded. This is an important expression of gratitude to people for their significant, long-term work in the fields of culture, education, media, science, community activities, and integration.

Our community member, palm weaver Agata Granicka, has been awarded the Gold Badge of Honor “For Merit.” We congratulate Agata and wish her beautiful creative and educational endeavors.
