The Vilnius Region Folk Artists – Art Creators’ Community, the Vilnius Community of the Lithuanian Folk Artists’ Union, dedicated to nurturing and preserving the traditions of traditional paper-cutting, is organizing a national competitive exhibition of paper-cuts, “The Symmetrical Code of Paper-Cutting Identity,” dedicated to the memory of Julija Daniliauskienė (1926–2009), the reviver and master of Lithuanian paper-cutting art, and to commemorate the centenary of her birth.
